The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern just have oh so much to shout about right now as life under Jurgen Klopp continues to thrill and excite.
Sitting pretty atop the Premier League, the Reds propping up the bar have been waxing poetic about their charismatic German coach and dreaming of a long-awaited Premier League title potentially making its way into the Anfield trophy cabinet.
Still, one man who doesn’t look like wholly adjusting to life under Klopp’s stewardship is a certain Daniel Sturridge.
The England international, despite his excellence in front of goal, has largely been dropped in favour of Roberto Firmino and is yet to score in the league at all this season.
Now, according to the Daily Mirror, the 27-year-old is ready to QUIT the Kop.
According to the report, the former Chelsea and Manchester City marksman is frustrated at his lack of game time and is open to a move away after accepting he is no longer a major part of his manager’s plans.
West Ham and Stoke City are reportedly keen on Sturridge, with both teams said to be desperate for a top-class marksman.
Should Liverpool do all they can to keep Sturridge? Let us know below…
