Klopp reportedly eyeing another raid on ex-employers for £40.5m-rated wonderkid

Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern will be continuing their celebrations after seeing their team reach the Champions League final, and they will certainly feel that they are in with a chance of winning the tournament.

The fine form that Jurgen Klopp’s side have shown throughout the campaign, including the likes of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, has made the Anfield locals forget about all the drama they had when Philippe Coutinho left the side in an acrimonious way back in January.

Although a number of the Liverpool outfit will be focused on the club’s big match with Real Madrid towards the end of the month, a report has claimed that the Merseysiders will still be looking towards who to bring in this summer.

And that’s because The Daily Mirror are reporting that the Reds remain interested in Borussia Dortmund’s £40.5 million-rated wonderkid Christian Pulisic (as per Transfermarkt), with Klopp aiming for a third time to try and bring the United States of America international to Anfield, having reportedly failed with two offers before.

The 19-year-old has been impressive playing as a midfielder and an attacking midfielder for the German’s ex-employers, which has led to a number of Europe’s biggest sides taking a look at him, including Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Landlord’s Verdict: The Reds in the Tavern will be hoping they can finally strike a deal with Dortmund to bring the talented attacker to Anfield at the third time of asking, having tried to raid the Bundesliga club before but to no avail.

At just 19 years of age, the American would certainly be one for the future, although he could be ready to make an impact straight away were he to reunite with Klopp at Anfield.
