Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been praying that manager Jurgen Klopp returns to former club Borussia Dortmund in order to raid some the club’s players over the course of the summer.
Well, they just might get their wish. The Daily Mail claim that the German has personally instructed members of his scouting team to run the rule over talented Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic.
The 17-year old has emerged as one of the club’s most promising players, ironically breaking into the first-team following the departure of Klopp at the end of last season.
Major changes are expected at Anfield this summer as he looks to stamp his authority on a side that is largely players made up of the Brendan Rodgers era.
An American international already, he is reportedly firmly on the Reds’ radar and another season of development could prompt them into making a move for the talented teen.
Largely a versatile winger, the USA starlet would provide width to a team with only Jordon Ibe to call on as a natural option in wide areas.
Is he the right man to replace Raheem Sterling? Or is Ibe a better in-house option?
