Klopp would be stupid to bring one of Europe’s best players to Liverpool – Agreed?

Reds fans here in the Tavern are beginning to get fed up with the constant slip-ups, after yet another winning position is foiled. Having been on the receiving end of an Istanbul-like comeback nightmare on Tuesday night against Sevilla, many of the fans down Anfield Road felt sucker punched after they let another lead slip at the hands of top 4 rivals Chelsea.

Although fans here in the pub were disappointed with the weekend’s result, many of them agreed that their side played some dominant football for the vast majority of the match, but felt it was Jurgen Klopp’s late decision-making that caused the demise for the late equalizer.

Of course, letting a lead slip two games in a row is always going to be gutting for the Merseyside outfit, but results in other games can be looked upon with promise, as competitors Tottenham and Spartak Moscow also succumbed to a loss of points in their resulting fixtures.

Having taken in the action over the past week, perhaps a change in the weather sits on the horizon for Liverpool fans, as links suggest that their already near-perfect attack could be bolstered with the news of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being closely tied with a move to Anfield in January.

Indeed, something as simple as a rumour for a player of Aubameyang’s pedigree could be enough to lift the spirits on Merseyside, with the addition of the Gabon international increasing any hopes of Champions League surge, should they progress next week.

However, with Brazilian Roberto Firmino already finding the net 9 times and assisting 5 goals this season, could Klopp be planning another needless buy, with the potential overload in attacking outlets causing for some unhappy customers.

After a difficult start to life at Anfield, the former Hoffenheim man has found his place in the team. Though not a natural centre-forward, he’s proved an ideal foil to the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane in wide positions.

Therefore, with the potential addition of another striker threatening Firmino’s starting berth, would acquiring the Borrusia Dortmund striker pose any improvements on their current situation?
