Our Liverpool fans here inside the Transfer Tavern are hoping for another top-four finish this season.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has an abundance of attacking talent to choose from also has three England strikers in his ranks, funnily enough. All desperate to impress ahead of the World Cup next year, Danny Ings has been linked with a loan move away in recent months, in a bid to make sure he plays first-team minutes.
In the Merseyside Derby, Ings made a late substitute appearance in a bid to grab a winner, though couldn’t have much of an impact as his side let yet another lead slip. Still, he poses a different threat to that of first choice striker Roberto Firmino and if the one-cap England international can avoid another injury, he could play a big part in Klopp’s second half of the season.
However, the games are going to come thick and fast in 2018 and Klopp will have to rotate in order to keep his team fresh. With his style of high pressing football, rotation is key and Liverpool top the players used this season table already.
So, with that in mind, we’re asking Liverpool fans, would it be a good move for Klopp to keep on Ings after January?
