Latest reports emanating out of Spain could spell good news for Liverpool fans

As the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern get ready for the Champions League, they’re fully expecting a massive summer of activity as Jurgen Klopp whips his squad into shape.

Still, as much as our local Kopites have been discussing potential big name targets, there’s always been a slight doubt in regards to the future of Philippe Coutinho. Despite making it back into the continent’s elite competition, the Brazilian has been touted as a potential Barcelona target.

So, reports from Spanish outlet Sport suggesting he IS keen on a move have, bizarrely, actually gone down well today. That’s because – while the 24-year-old reportedly wants to link up with the likes of Luis Suarez and Neymar again – there are some big doubts over a move to the Camp Nou.

Coutinho is said to fear for his involvement in the biggest games of the season should he move to Spain, with Andres Iniesta now seeing his minutes managed accordingly so he can feature in the most important clashes.

With the World Cup winner still an integral figure for the Catalans, the local Liverpool lot think they could benefit from Iniesta’s evergreen ability.
