Liverpool and Arsenal handed £40m blow as PSG line up move for world class forward

Liverpool fans who got an up close and personal view of the excellent Marco Reus in last night’s historic win over Borussia Dortmund could yet be disappointed following reports from L’Equipe (via talkSPORT) that Paris Saint-Germain could make a move for the forward.

Having worked with current Reds boss Jurgen Klopp while with the German giants, the 26-year old had been linked with a blockbuster move to Anfield over the course of the summer.

Together, then won two Bundesliga titles and reached the Champions League final, though it was Klopp who had the last laugh at Anfield during the epic encounter.

Arsenal, who have are said to have previously tried to land him, are also thought to have retained an interest in the German international.

However, two of the biggest names in English football could be outspent by the hugely wealthy French champions as they plot a huge summer move.

It is claimed that the Parisians are considering a £40m bid in order to test the German club’s resolve.

Did Reus do no enough to make you think he’s worth £40m last night?
