As if reports linking Nani with a move back to Manchester United weren’t crazy enough, the Transfer Tavern has recently been left in awe following further developments.
The Portuguese winger is also, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik, reportedly a target for Everton AND Liverpool this summer, following a solid season with Fenerbahce.
A five time Premier League winner, the 29-year old has emerged as one of his nation’s main players in support of illustrious teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, notching two goals.
His agent has confirmed he will be leaving Istanbul, having only officially left Old Trafford on a permanent deal last summer.
The likes of Inter Milan and Valencia are also thought to be monitoring his situation in the Turkish capital over the coming months.
The Reds in particular are in need of more natural width, with only Jordon Ibe readily available to Jurgen Klopp, though Nani’s club-teammate Lazar Markovic is due to return to Anfield after his loan spell.
Seriously, are Liverpool really going to sign Nani? Could it prove to be a masterstroke?
