You could probably call it bad luck for Harry Wilson to see his rise in form collide during the presence of Liverpool's most stunning attacking trio in years. Indeed, despite his efforts in the Championship for Derby County, it's not hard to imagine that most players in the world would struggle to get into the Reds' frontline right now.

Though having a talent such as the Welshman on the books can never be a bad thing, it seems the Merseyside giants wouldn't stand in his way should reported interest in the player formalise itself in the form of a bid. According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are apparently willing to listen to offers for Wilson with a bid of £21 million reportedly being enough to lure him away from Anfield. And, while no one likes seeing a young player of such ability depart, anything close to that fee would surely be good business.

Yes, the 22-year-old did net an impressive 21 goals and recorded four assists across all competitions last season and, yes, his free-kick technique was compared to that of David Beckham's by international boss Ryan Giggs, but the kind of talent already in play at Anfield is formidable. Indeed, even as a back-up, the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Adam Lallana can come in, so the competition for places is obviously tough.

Teams across the continent are said to have a keen eye on the Wrexham-born ace and, if the Reds can bring in over £20m for him, perhaps it can go towards the signing of a versatile attacker the Daily Mail reported they were keen on back towards the end of May.

The likes of Bruno Fernandes have been linked, after all...

Wilson is believed to be desperate to prove his worth at the club he joined as a boy but it's time to be ruthless here. Before the hype around him dies, Liverpool can potentially do good business by selling him for fairly big money.

Indeed, if there's one team whose transfer policy in recent years you wouldn't doubt, it would be the Reds. They've brought in big fees for the likes of Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings (as well as Philippe Coutinho, obviously) while banking their money to splurge on a number of impressive players, with the signings of Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker helping them win their sixth European title.
