According to The Sun, Liverpool are interested in signing Ghanaian international Frank Acheampong with our Reds in the Transfer Tavern hoping he can help with their title challenge.
The supporters of the Anfield club here by the bar are in good spirits already today after they beat Middlesbrough convincingly 3-0 last night.
Two goals from Adam Lallana and one from Divock Origi helped seal the win for the Reds on Teeside, helping banish the recent blues of drawing with West Ham and losing at Bournemouth.
The young winger can also play at left back and has been in fine form this season for current club Anderlecht with a goal and five assists so far this season in all competitions.
Liverpool could do with a new left back, though it remains to be seen if Acheampong would want to play there, with James Milner still filling in in that position.
Our landlord thinks the Reds seriously need to work something out for that area if they want to win the title this season, too.
