Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern have gone into this international break in high-spirits and cannot wait for it to be over so their league campaign can resume.
Indeed, most of our punters want the international break over sooner rather than later with the Reds wanting their side to kick on after a good point against Manchester City.
The game was a real frantic affair and could have had far more goals than the two shared by the top four rivals, with James Milner coolly converting from the spot to give the Reds the lead.
It was another professional and solid display from the makeshift left-back as he once again underlined what a player he can be at this level and it looks as though he’ll be at the club for some time yet.
Indeed, The Sun has revealed that his contract lasts until 2020 (it had been unknown until now) and Jurgen Klopp sees no reason why he would let the former Aston Villa man go before that.
He could even stay longer, too, and so it seems that Milner will be in a red shirt for some time to come yet.
