The murmurings in the Football Transfer Tavern this morning seem to suggest that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to put up a fight to get the signature of Croatian forward, Marko Pjaca.
Before the jukebox gets fired up later today we’ve had Talksport on in the bar and they are reporting via Sky Italia that the Reds could be ready to table a bid in the region of £14m to bring the Dinamo Zagreb man to Anfield.
However, Klopp will have to fend off interest from some European heavyweights in order to secure the signature of the 21-year-old, with Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus both interested in making Pjaca part of their squad.
Pjaca has been in scintillating form since the New Year, scoring eight goals in seven games for Zagreb which secured his place in the Croatian national side for EURO 2016.
The youngster had impressed in France before his side were knocked out by Cristiano Ronaldo & Co. in the Round of 16 over the weekend.
Should Pjaca make the switch to Merseyside then Liverpool fans will have every reason to get excited about their attacking options going into the new season.
