Liverpool’s away kit design for the 2020/21 Premier League season appears to have leaked online
Brazilian website Mantos de Futebol first gave fans a glimpse of the away jersey last month, which incorporates elements from old and new badges.
The away shirt proudly features the LFC badge, complete with a black Nike tick and trim, with a garish neon blue background.
Liverpool still haven’t confirmed the kits for next season but leaks tend to pop up before an official announcement and some are more accurate than others.
Earlier this year it was revealed the Reds will finish the season in their New Balance strip even though the agreement runs out in May.
Last year it was confirmed Nike will become the club’s new kit manufacturer in a deal worth a reported £70m per year (via The i newspaper).
A whole section of the LFC faithful took to Twitter to blast the “awful” concept. One angry fan branded the design “disgusting” while another even called it “grotesque.”
