In an extremely touching montage released by the club’s official Twitter, Liverpool’s first team and women’s players, backroom staff and management have sent personal messages to the NHS workers.
Led by Jurgen Klopp, several members of the LFC men’s and women’s sides have pooled together to show their gratitude for all the work the NHS colleagues are doing during this worrying time.
“It’s unbelievable what you are doing and on behalf of all of us from LFC I would like to say thank you,” the German manager said. Following up from Klopp, others including Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk and several women’s team players all sent their heartwarming messages of encouragement and appreciation.
NHS staff are currently still working despite the government’s recent firm instructions for the general public to stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary to leave the house.
Many fans are responding to the video and commenting on how proud of their club they are.
