Liverpool: Fans buzz over Divock Origi’s introduction in Club World Cup final - Liverpool

Liverpool were able to claim the Club World Cup in Qatar on Saturday after beating Flamengo 1-0, giving supporters plenty to smile about.

Roberto Firmino proved to be the match-winner after he grabbed the only goal of the final at the Khalifa International Stadium, but he was not the only forward to leave supporters excited on the day.

Step forth, Divock Origi, who fans were delighted to see when he was brought on in the second half of extra-time. The 24-year-old replaced Firmino as Jurgen Klopp looked to introduce some fresh legs up front and a brand new threat to Jorge Jesus’ side.

And with famous goals against Barcelona, Tottenham and Everton, Origi certainly looked like the man for the occasion.

Fans loved it, taking to Twitter to show their delight with Klopp’s substitution. You can have a look at exactly how they reacted to the Belgian’s introduction to the game below…
