Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that Naby Keita’s injury is not as serious as first feared.
The Guinean midfielder was substituted during Liverpool’s EFL Cup victory on penalties against Arsenal for precautionary reasons. The game finished 5-5 after normal time before the match was resolved by spot-kicks.
He was replaced 10 minutes into the second period by the youngster Curtis Jones, who scored the winning penalty during the shootout. However, the midfielder is thought to be up for selection ahead of the Reds’ trip to Aston Villa this weekend.
Supporters were mixed in their opinions about Keita after it was revealed that his injury was only minor and should be available for the weekend. One fan said that that he should feature in the middle of the midfield three, while another doesn’t understand the “Naby hype”.

I don’t get all this naby hype. He’s been average at best for us.
