Liverpool’s official Twitter account @LFC confirmed the news of the 22-year-old’s permanent departure from Anfield late last night after the deal was completed.
Ryan Kent has completed a permanent transfer to @RangersFC.

Kent made his debut for Liverpool’s first team in an FA Cup tie at Exeter in January 2016 but that was his only senior competitive appearance for the Reds, despite getting game time in five pre-season friendlies this summer.
He impressed at Ibrox in 2018/19, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in 43 appearances, as well as being named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year and making it into the PFA Scotland Team of the Year.
These Liverpool fans on Twitter seemed disappointed at Kent’s departure from the club:
Again another talent that we haven’t been able to keep, becoming the normal these days

Finally, the time has come.
I kept on checking and expecting him.
No matter who says what, I’m so sad…
But I know he’s gonna shine at his new home Ibrox. Best wishes Kenty.

it didn’t come out of the blue, we could figure how this dude was cut off any future plan, an understandable decision, time to move on,
thanks for everything Ryan, for what you did at the Academy and afterwards, we won’t forget you and best of luck for your future #YNWA
