Liverpool fans were enraged after Joe Gomez revealed a huge scratch across his face after his altercation with Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.
The 22-year-old emerged to train with England as he prepares for Thursday Euro 2020 Qualifier against Montenegro on Thursday and got into a scuffle with his Premier League rival on arrival at St. George’s Park.
Sterling did not act kindly to ‘banter’ that was had between Gomez and some England teammates and was believed to have attempted to grab the Liverpool defender around the neck.
As a result, the City midfielder was dropped from the squad but is still training with the other players in the Midlands.

What a petulant child Sterling is. This isn’t showing he cares like he wants us to believe, it’s blatant disregard for the International team, his ego ran away with him.

Gomez lifted Sterling like a little kid.
Sterling got embarrassed.

If he done that in the street he will be arrested. Don’t understand why people are up in harms because he got suspended for a nothing game. If it was the other way round Gomez will never play for England again.
