Liverpool: Fans drool over latest images of redeveloped Anfield Road Stand

Loads of Liverpool fans were delighted to see more images of the proposed plans for the redevelopment of the Anfield Road Stand at their famous stadium.
The Merseyside club unveiled their revised plans for the £60m revamp of currently the ground’s smallest stand, which will boost the overall capacity to 61,000 upon completion. The Premier League leaders began their second stage of the public consultation process and aim to submit a full planning application to Liverpool City Council by March.
The club’s official website made the announcement and the Reds’ chief operating officer Andy Hughes stressed that the club will continue to work with the local residents and further revise the plans based on their feedback. Once finished, the Anfield Road Stand will add another 7,000 seats, with 5,200 of those being general admission and the other 1,800 offering lounge and sports bar hospitality. As a result, supporters were delighted with the updated plans and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said it was going to look fantastic, while another described the plans as “incredible”.
