Liverpool: Fans express their delight as Jurgen Klopp is nominated for new award
Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that manager Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for yet another award.
The German manager’s name has been put forward for the UK Coaching’s Great Coaching Moment of the Year accolade, which acknowledges the Reds’ fightback in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona in May and the scenes that followed at full-time.

After going on to win the competition in June during his side’s 2-0 win against Spurs in Madrid, he won the UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year prize at FIFA’s The Best awards ahead of Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino. During the ceremony, he also said he would donate 1% of his salary to the Common Goal movement.
Supporters were delighted with Klopp’s latest achievement and made their feelings clear on social media. Some supporters voted for the Stuttgart-born coach immediately.
