Liverpool: Fans have their fingers crossed over Dejan Lovren departure
Reports from Italy are claiming that Dejan Lovren is on the radar for Lazio’s summer shopping, with the Serie A side hoping to clinch an experienced defender to bolster the squad.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, there’s nothing concrete in the links between Lazio and Dejan Lovren but the club has definitely shown interest in the centre-back.
The 30-year-old has been described as ‘the perfect identikit’ for Simone Inzaghi’s side, with his recent Champions League win obviously an attractive pedigree to have.
However, despite Lazio’s interest, price may be an obstacle for the Rome outfit as Lovren reportedly has an £18.25million price tag on his head. His apparent £90,000-a-week wages could also be too high of a demand for the Italians but a longer contract offer could sway the Croatian to lower his demands.

Indeed, the Liverpool fans below are seemingly eager to offload Lovren in the summer, with one supporter pleading for the club to ‘get him gone’. Another fan is hoping the club will finalise a deal in the summer as to not see the defender leave as a free agent. But one Red has stated it will be ‘a miracle’ if Liverpool sell him for the reported price.
