Trent Alexander-Arnold has scooped the award for February’s Standard Chartered Player of the Month.
Liverpool’s young scouser has been awarded for his hard work during February after bagging himself two assists and making six tackles across the four games played last month (via Sofascore).
Alexander-Arnold has risen through the ranks at Liverpool in a journey that can only be described as a dream for every young Liverpool fan. He usurped Nathaniel Clyne as first choice right-back when he was just 18-years-old and has cemented himself into the squad as an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s machine.
Following his rise to fame and his success in helping the Reds lift their sixth Champions League trophy, Alexander-Arnold is now worth a mammoth £99million after starting his Liverpool career with a valuation of just £450,000 in 2017 (via Transfermarkt).
Fans are elated that their local full-back has been awarded Player of the Month, with one supporter hoping to see him as ‘future captain’. Another fan has declared ‘young player of the decade incoming’.
