Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing Merseyside derby when they host Crystal Palace tonight.
After a dull display at Goodison Park, the Reds will play their first game back at Anfield since the nationwide shutdown was imposed in response to the pandemic.
Keeping to the government guidelines, all games will be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future.
As the Kop won’t echo to the sound of the Liverpool faithful anytime soon, the board have decided to work with the Spion Kop 1906 group to cover the empty stands in custom banners.
The club’s official account tweeted a montage of the artwork installation on social media, which you can check out down below.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently twenty points clear of defending champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, and the Reds only need to win two more games in order to clinch the coveted trophy.
As expected, loads of LFC fans lauded the club’s “beautiful” gesture, with one supporter calling the scene “amazing,” and another adding it is “class.”
