Liverpool fans were lauding Sadio Mane after the attacker put in a sumptuous performance in the 5-2 win over rivals Everton.
The Senegal international performed brilliantly as he grabbed a goal and two assists, including a brilliant pass for Divock Origi’s opening goal of the game (via BBC).
Mane was a threat to Marco Silva’s side all evening as he had the joint-most shots, played the joint-most passes, completed the most dribbles and was the most fouled player for Liverpool (via WhoScored).
The performance continues the 27-year-old’s eye-catching season for the Anfield giants as he’s scored 12 and assisted a further five in just 20 appearances across all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
He received high praise from Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, who claimed it was a shame to see the Senegalese man finish fourth in the Ballon d’Or rankings (Canal+ via The Metro).
