Liverpool fans may not enjoy latest transfer line amid reported interest from champions

With the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern now oh so excited about life back in the Champions League, they’re eager for rumours and reports.

Indeed, many of the resident Reds around our bar are waxing lyrical about potential summer arrivals, though whoever is to leave Anfield this summer will play just as big a role in shaping Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

So, reports from ESPN have proved interesting today. They claim Liverpool starlet Harry Wilson is attracting interest elsewhere, particularly SPFL champions Celtic.

The 20-year-old is one of the most highly-rated talents on Merseyside in years, having bagged 28 goals for the Reds’ U23s this season. He’s also broken a record at international¬†level, becoming Wales’ youngest ever player back in 2013.

Those behind the scenes at Anfield are understood to have high hopes for Wilson, though the Bhoys and Championship outfit Wolves are said to be keen.

While the Kopites propping up the bar would hate to see an academy graduate depart so soon, they’d prefer he travel up to Glasgow so former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers could develop his obvious talent.
