Liverpool: Fans mock Bobby Duncan as he is set to join Sunderland on loan - Liverpool

Loads of Liverpool fans let rip at former player Bobby Duncan as he could be about to join Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old signed a three-year deal at Fiorentina in the summer after a public outcry from his agent, Saif Rubie, who accused the Merseyside club of “mentally bullying” the teenager, as per The Guardian. The cousin of Steven Gerrard went on to ditch Rubie after he got himself suspended following his controversial comments that left a sour taste in the Kop faithful’s mouth.

He is yet to make a first-team appearance for La Viola and journalist Alan Nixon posted on Twitter that he could make the move to the Stadium of Light to play regular first-team football under manager Phil Parkinson. Supporters, still aggrieved with the manner of his departure from Anfield, showed little sympathy and made their feelings clear on social media, with one supporter quite frankly claiming the youngster is ‘ruining his career’.
