Liverpool: Fans mock Emre Can as he could be offloaded by Juventus

Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can looks set to leave Juventus in January and supporters have not shown much sympathy for him.
The Germany international left Anfield on a free transfer in 2018 after he would not sign a new contract with the Merseyside club, instead opting for a move to Turin with the reigning Italian champions.
Jurgen Klopp moved quickly to replace him and signed the Monaco defensive midfielder Fabinho, who has become an essential part of the German manager’s team.
The Turkish-born midfielder has been unable to establish himself in Maurizio Sarri’s side and has found himself down the pecking order with the arrivals of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot from Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
According to CalcioMercato (via the Daily Mail), the Bianconeri are open to offloading Can in January, with a price of £35m for clubs to take him off the Italian side’s books.
Can has only featured in four Serie A games this season and played 29 times during the last league campaign, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Supporters mocked the former Red due to the situation he finds himself in at the Turin-based outfit. One fan said that it is always “downhill” when you leave Anfield, while another described him as a “flop”.
Here you will find some of the best comments from Liverpool fans:
When will they ever learn… you leave the reds, it’s downhill from there on.

The best part of klopp’s systems, is that they hide player’s weaknesses and emphasize their strengths. Emre is a pure example of this, aswell as coutinho.

Can is the classic case of a player thinking he was better than he actually was. He moved on ⬇️, we moved on⬆️. Would I like to see him back? No, he isn’t fit enough for our midfield, but good luck to him bringing his sluggishness to an Old Trafford near you soon…
