A list of footballers out of contract this summer has been put together as potential targets for Liverpool this coming transfer window, but fans aren’t best pleased.
The Express has listed three players who will walk out of their respective clubs this summer as free agents unless offered new contracts, and they would all benefit the Merseyside outfit whilst saving the club millions according to the publication.
On the list is Ryan Fraser, Willian and Layvin Kurzawa and all three could provide crucial back-up to Liverpool’s first team. The Reds have previously been linked with Bournemouth’s Fraser, who enjoyed an impressive 2018/19 season in the Premier League – scoring seven goals and assisting 14 (via Transfermarkt).
Jurgen Klopp will almost certainly be looking to bolster his squad and bring in some fresh faces this summer, but many fans are adamant that scouting free agents is not the answer. One fan has branded FSG ‘cheapskate‘ whilst another has commented on how ‘disappointing’ the news is. Other fans are just murmuring about how ‘awful’ these particular signings would be.
– broke the world record for club profit recorded
