Reports from Turkey have claimed that Loris Karius could be leaving Liverpool for a move to Sporting CP, with Belgian side Anderlecht also keen on the goalkeeper.
Turkish outlet Fanatik have linked the German shot-stopper with a move to Portuguese side Sporting after his two-year loan spell with Besiktas comes to an end this summer (Fanatik via Sport Witness).
Karius left Liverpool after the majority of supporters turned on him for his costly blunders in the 2018/19 Champions League final. The 26-year-old was shipped out to Turkey where he endured even more problems after Besiktas reportedly weren’t paying his wages (via Telegraph).
The German’s contract with Liverpool is due to expire in the summer of 2021, meaning the Reds can still cash in if he leaves in the next window.
Have you forgiven Karius for the 2018 Champions League final yet?
Kopites are discussing Karius’ future and whether they would take him back at Anfield, one fan has said ‘No. Anyone saying yes is stupid’.
