Liverpool: Fans quiz exclusion of Fabinho from combined XI with Manchester City

Liverpool supporters have questioned the absence of Fabinho within a combined XI mocked up by Sky Sports pundit Matthew Upson as they prepare to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Reds will go into the game after a 94th-minute winner from Sadio Mane that helped them beat Aston Villa 2-1 on Saturday.
The Citizens also won 2-1 against Southampton as they scraped past a side that lost 9-0 to Leicester City in October, setting up an exciting encounter between last season’s runners-up and the champions.
The team that Upson picked consists of six players from the Merseyside club and five players from the blue side of Manchester, while his selection of an entirely blue midfield has created some controversy.
Mo Salah has two Golden Boots in his first two seasons back in the Premier League and has outscored Sterling twice now.

Fabinho has been in great form this season – he has managed to rack up 2.5 tackles per game in the Premier League as well as 1.3 interceptions and a pass success rate of 86.8%.
Supporters were not happy that Fernandinho was favoured over Fabinho and made their feelings clear on social media to vent their frustrations.
