Loads of Liverpool fans are concerned after The Athletic’s James Pearce shared some news ahead of their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid, as Andy Robertson is just one booking away from a suspension.
The Reds travel to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium with happy memories on Tuesday night, but they may well face a lot stiffer test than they did last June against Tottenham. Indeed, Diego Simeone’s side have one of the best defensive records in Europe, conceding just 17 times in 24 La Liga matches so far this season.
They also have plenty of threat going forward with the likes of Angel Correa, Koke and Saul Niguez, and that could be trouble for Robertson after Pearce revealed he is just one bad challenge away from missing the second leg.
This would of course be a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp’s side as left-back is pretty much the only position at the club without a recognised second-choice, and James Milner could be left to fill in if Robertson does indeed pick up a suspension. Check out some of the best fan reactions to the news down below…
Didn’t need this negativity right now, James.

Bit like against Bayern last season when he got a stupid booking in the last minute
