Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has been forced to pull out of Scotland’s upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers due to an ankle injury, as reported by the Daily Record.
Andy Robertson out of Scotland’s games due to an ankle injury. Similar problem to Mo Salah. Robertson regarded as a doubt for #LFC trip to Crystal Palace a week on Saturday.

As per the Daily Record, Robertson admitted to playing through his ankle injury in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Manchester City, during which a challenge from Rodri worsened the knock.
The Reds left-back also revealed that he had not trained for two and a half weeks due to the ankle problem (via Daily Record), believing it best not to aggravate the injury any further given Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge and Scotland’s appearance in the Euro 2020 play-offs in March.
Who is the better full-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold or Andrew Robertson?

These Liverpool fans on Twitter shrugged off Pearce’s less than encouraging update, with some believing that James Milner is a capable deputy at left-back if needed:
Just under 2 weeks away guys let’s chill and not meltdown

Milner can do the job against Palace if needed. We should be fine as long as he’s not out for too long.🤞

Milner can play for Robertson and Salah. Will be fine.
