Liverpool: Fans react to FA Cup fifth round draw with Chelsea - Liverpool

Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to the FA Cup fifth round draw, where they will come up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

That being said, if they can get past Shrewsbury Town first. Obviously, the Reds were held to a 2-2 draw at New Meadow on Sunday, which means that the sides will have to face each other once more to decide who will come up against the seven-time FA Cup winners. Manager Jurgen Klopp stated that the first team would not play as they will honour the winter break, with U23s boss Neil Critchley taking charge of their domestic rematch against the Shrews.

Liverpool have only played Chelsea twice in the FA Cup in the last 14 years. A 2-1 win at Old Trafford saw them go on to win the competition against West Ham, and they lost by the same scoreline in 2012’s final. Supporters, however, saw it as an opportunity to wish Shrewsbury Town the best of luck at Stamford Bridge and made their feelings clear on social media.
