Liverpool supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their team head into the first international break of the 2018/19 season with a 100% record in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp’s men went into their previous encounter against Leicester City having won three straight games to begin the campaign, beating West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Brighton all without conceding a goal. And while they were far from their best against the Foxes last time out, they got the job done thanks to first half goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, as although Rachid Ghezzal got one back for the hosts after the break, it wasn’t enough to deny the Merseysiders a fourth successive victory.
Consequently, there have been many thrilled Liverpudlians up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to a recent post from the club’s official Twitter handle, which looks back at their 4-1 success over Leicester on this day two years ago.

The Reds had made an unconvincing start to the 2016/17 season in winning one, drawing one, and losing the other of their first three games prior to the Foxes’ visit, only for Klopp’s side to seriously produce the goods at Anfield to pick up their second victory of the campaign.
A brace from Roberto Firmino alongside strikes from Mane and Adam Lallana secured a comprehensive win for the Merseyside giants, with the brilliant efforts of messers Firmino and Lallana of particular interest and delight to many Liverpool fans on Twitter…
