Liverpool fans have reacted to news that Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser will not move to Anfield in January after rumours were claimed to be “wide of the mark”.
Do Liverpool really need Ryan Fraser?
The 25-year-old was linked via talkSPORT with a move to Merseyside after reports revealed that advanced talks were taking place with the Cherries about a permanent transfer for the Scotsman, that was meant to involve Harry Wilson remaining at the Vitality Stadium.
Been told that the speculation about #LFC and Ryan Fraser is wide of the mark. Claims that they are in talks over a January move dismissed as ‘nonsense’. Liverpool have also recently been linked with Denis Zakaria from Gladbach but Klopp happy with his midfield options.

However, James Pearce of The Athletic understands that Jurgen Klopp has no interest in preparing a bid for him and is believed to be more than happy with his options in midfield.
With the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri in the squad and Wilson yet to return from loan, they have a significant reserve in the middle of the park available to the German manager.
After taking up the name “bad news Pearce” working at The Liverpool Echo, supporters revived the classic nickname for the journalist and made their feelings clear on social media about the news.

He may have left the echo but he’s not lost the talent of transfer rumour quashing. He’s still quiet on the Mbappe front though ….. 🤐 #Mbappe2020
