Liverpool fans have responded to Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero after comments that he made about Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Citizens’ attacker prepares to face the Reds on Sunday in a critical game that could be a turning point in relation to the Premier League title race for the current campaign.
The Merseyside club could not get a win against their domestic rivals after a 0-0 draw at Anfield and a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad in January, which ultimately led to Liverpool finishing behind Manchester City by one point at the end of the season.
Sergio Aguero believes European champions Liverpool are the only team who can hurt Manchester City this season.
“It’s the only team in the league that can hurt us. They have been chasing a new league (title) for years.”https://t.co/LDTOIz3uaH

While Aguero recognised the danger that his side faces, supporters joked about the obsession that City have with Liverpool and made their feelings clear on social media. Other fans reminded that the club have already lost to newly-promoted Norwich City and Wolves this season.
Here you will find some of the best responses from Liverpool fans:
They really can’t stop talking about us. Love it.

Strange why he would say that United are the main fixture for City, when United say it’s Liverpool. Mind games.

He does realise that they’ve already lost twice to the likes of wolves and Norwich?
