Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a transfer update from The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who claims they are one of a number of clubs pursuing Norwich City starlet Todd Cantwell.
The Canaries may very well be destined for a return to the Championship after Saturday’s defeat to Liverpool, which left them seven points adrift of safety and six points behind their closest relegation rival.
Daniel Farke’s side have certainly showed glimpses of real quality this season though, such as their victory over Manchester City, and most of their success has come courtesy of star duo Teemu Pukki and Cantwell. According to Ornstein, Liverpool are now the front-runners to sign the 21 year-old midfielder while Tottenham and both Manchester sides are also interested, and Norwich would seek £30m for his signature even if they are relegated.
With Adam Lallana’s contract set to expire this summer, many Reds fans have suggested Cantwell could be a “perfect replacement” for the former Southampton man, who has just one Premier League goal this term while Cantwell has six…
Cantwell will be a good lallana replacement

Perfect replacement for Lallana then.

if this happens whilst lallana leaves its just a younger lallana replacement

Reminds me of a young Lallana

Great signing, reminds me of the Robertson and Wijnaldum deals not a star name but perfect for our system

Neither really but I’d go for Cantwell he’s a baller! Quick, good feet and has bags of confidence. He’d thrive under klopp.
