Liverpool: Fans react to tweet about Manchester United

Liverpool are enjoying a dream start to the season, already sitting eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
The European champions sent out a statement of intent by beating Manchester City 3-1 before the international break and backed it up by scraping past Crystal Palace without Mohamed Salah.
Should Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain be a regular starter at Liverpool?
Yes

No

Their joy has been compounded by the despair of their great rivals: Manchester United.
The Red Devils could only draw with Sheffield United, despite being 3-2 up, leaving them ninth in the table after 13 games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are the only side in the division to take points off Liverpool, but they still sit nine points off the Champions League places.
Their latest disappointment sees the gap to Jurgen Klopp’s side open up to 20 points, with 25 games of the season still to play.
After so many years of dominance under Sir Alex Ferguson, United’s decline has been enjoyed by Liverpool fans.
Here’s how some of them reacted to James Pearce‘s tweet about the points gap:

We could take December off and still be 20 points cleared

If you give Man Utd all the points won by Arsenal this season, they would still be behind Liverpool.
