Liverpool: Fans take to Twitter to wish Philippe Coutinho well after Bayern loan

Barcelona and Philippe Coutinho has not worked out as well as a lot of people thought it would. The Brazilian has flopped, to put it bluntly, at the Nou Camp, and now he has a chance to gain back some of his reputation with a loan move to Bayern Munich after an onslaught of criticism from fans and journalists alike.

The ex-Liverpool man had his move from the Spanish champions to the German champions confirmed yesterday, BBC, and some of his former club’s fans at Liverpool have been having their say on the man they used to love, which you will see in the tweets below.

Since Coutinho made his Anfield bow, the Kopites have gone on to secure a 2nd place Premier League finish, reach the Champions League final twice and lift the trophy once. The Brazilian was a hit on Merseyside, though, scoring 54 goals and registering 45 assists in his 201 games for the club, Transfermarkt, before his exit.

The Reds, quite clearly, are delighted for Coutinho.
