Liverpool: Fans worry as Alisson banned for Merseyside derby

Liverpool fans have been reacting to goalkeeper Alisson Becker and his red card that he picked up during his side’s 2-1 win against Brighton on Saturday.
The Reds had a 2-0 lead until the Brazil international handled the ball outside of the area, leaving referee Martin Atkinson no choice but to dismiss him from the field.
The visiting striker Leandro Trossard was clear through on goal and looked certain to score until the illegal intervention from Alisson.
Despite his sending off, the Reds maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League after two first-half goals from Virgil van Dijk secured the three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Lewis Dunk scored a free-kick late on which asserted a nervy finish but not enough to take away the victory for the hosts.
Supporters questioned the decision of Alisson and made their feelings clear on social media about their concerns about him not being in the side for the clash against Everton.
