Liverpool: Fans would rather see Andy Robertson start than Mohamed Salah vs Palace

Liverpool fans would rather see Andy Robertson feature against Crystal Palace on Saturday than Mohamed Salah, due to the pair’s fitness issues during the international break.
Both players have been carrying injuries through the Premier League interval and despite taking part in the team’s training session, it is not confirmed whether the two will be in the starting lineup in south London.
Robertson signed for the Reds for £8m from Hull City in 2017 and has been once of the club’s main assets since his arrival. He provided 11 assists last season which was the second-highest defender to achieve this accolade in one season, behind teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his press conference that both Salah and Robertson trained as normal but warned that he had to be sensible when it came to their recovery.
It was said earlier in the week that both individuals were to miss the game but now it appears that they may have a chance of taking part in the crucial Premier League affair.
Supporters were adamant that they would rather see Robertson feature and made their feelings clear on social media.
Here you will find some of the best comments from Liverpool fans:
I think if fit enough, Robertson starts as we haven’t got a real replacement for him at LB. Salah will probably be on the bench & left unless we really need him. Napoli is a big one & he should start that.

If Robbo is fit & didn’t have any reaction today he should start. Having a makeshift full back up against Zaha might cause us a few problems. Having Salah ready to start against Napoli should be the aim. Beating them & having a dead rubber in Salzburg is the perfect scenario.

True but if Robertson ever got a long term injury I’d be worried that Milner was the only choice to come in

more worried about the Robertson miss rather than the Salah tbh but we should still have enough to beat Palace….never easy there though as we know….

I rather have Robertson start instead of Salah. Salah needs his rest, especially with fixtures piling up now..
