Liverpool: Fans react as Real Madrid eye Roberto Firmino transfer swoop

Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a surprising piece of transfer news, as reports claim Real Madrid want to sign Roberto Firmino.
Away from Merseyside there will be more than a few who look towards the Brazilian number nine and question his goalscoring tally, but there is perhaps no player appreciated more highly by Jurgen Klopp and the Reds faithful than Firmino.
The former Hoffenheim man is the heartbeat of Klopp’s system and his work rate and creativity is what allows Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to thrive, which is perhaps why Zinedine Zidane reportedly wants him at the Bernabeu.
According to Reports in Spain, per Calciomercato, the La Liga giants have identified Firmino as the ‘ideal candidate’ to replace Karim Benzema, who is 32 years old.
The France international has 18 months left on his contract, and perhaps the £81m-rated (Transfermarkt) Firmino could have a similar effect on wingers like Eden Hazard as has had on Salah and Mane.
Most Liverpool fans are having none of it though, while a couple of supporters are slightly more open to the possibility of cashing in.

In my eyes we already bought our Bobby replacement. Minamino. That’s not to say Bobby is leaving now or even in a years time but it’s clear we are planning for the future.
