Now that the party is over at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp must recover from his delightful hangover quickly.

Indeed, while there's still time for celebration, the job is far from over in getting the Reds back where they truly belong, which is the pinnacle of English football.

Despite his overwhelming success in Europe, the German’s still tinkering to master his art in the Premier League. One factor which was, in fact, underwhelming for Liverpool not only in the Champions League final, but also throughout their campaign, was their misfiring midfield line. Granted, Fabinho did a superb job in protecting his defence or acting as a fiery destroyer but the term 'workmanlike' was bandied about far too often last season.

While Jordan Henderson also mirrored the Brazilian, driving Liverpool forward, there weren't many goals or assists coming from midfielders. Naby Keita’s late-blooming could serve tasty treats next season, but Klopp must use Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain properly now that he’s fully fit.

The 25-year-old ended an injury-ravaged campaign with a European winners medal, but seems ready to pump up the Reds' midfield line to full throttle next season. In the 2017/18 season, Oxlade-Chamberlain contributed in 10 league goals himself, something which Henderson, Fabinho and Keita contributed all together last season. The former Arsenal’s man a hound in midfield, hunting down opposition to win back possession but more importantly possessing that creative edge to unsettle defences.

Perhaps more signings will come but having the former Southampton ace ready and raring to go will be like a new addition to the Reds' frontline. That's a cliche no one likes to hear but, considering some of the impact he had last season, it rings true in this case.

Rather than relying on their wing-backs’ genius, Liverpool could create more through the middle with Chamberlain. The 25-year-old’s stark creativity mixed with his never-say-die spirit could bring great results alongside the exciting Keita, forming a menacing midfield line to take the Premier League by storm.
