James Pearce has provided insight into the futures of Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic’s at Liverpool, with the club expected to cash in on both players.
Is his latest feature for The Athletic, Pearce has predicted that the club will sell the young duo if the right amount of money comes in. The two 23-year-olds could generate about £40million between them, which will more than likely convince Liverpool to let them both go, according to the former Liverpool Echo reporter.
🗣️James Pearce: Marko Grujic's situation is similar to Wilson's. He's not a kid anymore. He wants to be somewhere where he's going to play regularly. If LFC can get a decent offer i can see them selling Marko this summer. I reckon LFC can generate £40mil from selling both of them

Grujic has been a player that has only really dipped his toe in the waters of the first team. Currently on loan with Hertha Berlin, he has tallied three goals and two assists, but at his parent club, he has made just 14 senior appearances in four years (via Transfermarkt).
It seems likely that Jurgen Klopp has been holding onto the Serbian midfielder, unsure of whether his time will come to show what he’s worth in the Premier League. Zeljko Buvac originally wanted Grujic at the club after seeing potential in him at Red Star Belgrade, and as a result, Klopp followed through and snapped him up (via talkSPORT).
Pearce has predicted that Grujic alone could be worth between £15m-£25m, which could prove a beneficial sale if the Reds are to push for one of the big names they have been linked to this summer.
What do you think, Liverpool fans? Should the club offload Marko Grujic this summer, or could he prove to be a vital backup?
