Liverpool: Many fans want Naby Keita to start against Genk

Plenty of Liverpool fans have been calling for Naby Keita to be included in the Reds’ midfield for their Champions League clash away to Genk on Wednesday night.
The Redmen TV asked Twitter followers for their preferred midfield line-up for the game in Belgium, with the Guinean’s name featuring in many of the responses. [via @TheRedmenTV]
What would your midfield three be for Wednesday??
Would you make any other changes from Sunday’s game?

Keita’s only start so far this season came against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup last month, while his eight-minute appearance as a substitute against Manchester United at the weekend was his first in the Premier League this term. [via TransferMarkt]
Despite the brevity of his appearance at Old Trafford, he still managed to complete 22 passes on Sunday, with an 84.6% success rate during his time on the field. [via WhoScored]
The 24-year-old missed several weeks of the campaign through a muscle injury that he incurred in the warm-up of the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea two months ago and has been limited to 94 minutes of game time in all competitions so far in 2019/20.
These Liverpool fans on Twitter have called for Keita to feature from the start against Genk:
Not a prediction, more of a hope, but I’d like to see Naby feature. He’s getting closer and closer all the time, so could be the right match to start him.

Fabinho, Milner and Keita. Milner needed for the grit and Keita for his skill and awareness

Genk are probably going to sit back like they did against Napoli. We won’t be able to penetrate their defense without Salah (if he’s injured) and with the usual midfield with both Gini and Hendo. Keita is a must after Sunday’s performance. Fabinho, Gini/Hendo and Keita for me.

Definitely Ox, Fab and Naby. Those 3 made a tremendous impact on the pitch together against United

I have always defended Henderson but I think it’s time for Naby to finally step up and become a regular so I would go Naby, giny and Fab. Save the Ox for Spurs, he might enjoy that one.
