It’s no secret that Liverpool’s attack is one of the best in world football, with the three forwards all complimenting each other well in a front-three that has taken the side closer than ever to the Premier League title.

Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have changed Liverpool for the better since clicking together in the attack, and the prospect of it getting even better has been thrown around a lot as the summer transfer window prepares to open in a few weeks time, and one player could make the Reds an unstoppable force.

According to L’Equipe journalist Bilel Ghazi via LFC Transfer Room, Lyon winger Memphis Depay is trying to force a move away from France by moving out of his house and into a hotel, and that Liverpool have the strongest interest in the Dutch international.

Depay, who joined the French giants from Manchester United for a reported £16 million, has been one of the best players in the country since his move to Lyon.

The 25-year-old attacker has been a revelation for Bruno Genesio’s side, scoring 31 and assisting 29 in 81 Ligue 1 appearances and leading Lyon to the Champions League Round of 16 this season for the first time since 2012.

Depay’s former links to Manchester United might make him a signing that some Liverpool fans couldn’t get behind, but there is no question the winger would take the Reds' attack to near-unstoppable levels should he return to the Premier League.

The Dutch international can play anywhere in the attacking third and has the quality to improve players around him. Depay in Liverpool’s attack would be absurd levels of dangerous, and Klopp knows that signing the former United number seven could be what takes his team to the next level.

Liverpool fans, would Depay be a good summer signing? Let us know!
