Liverpool have been unstoppable thus far in the Premier League, with their unbeaten record remaining intact.
It’s thanks to a stern defence and a mean attack that the Reds are now considered as one of those capable of winning the Premier League title this season, something that would be a terrific achievement for all those concerned after such a long wait.
Yet like all sides, they still find that work could be done to make them better and Liverpool are no different.
Having two of the best wingers in world football right now, (Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah) Liverpool need to ensure that if something bad happened to either, there was quality in the cover that comes into replace them.
Someone in fantastic form this season is Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and what an addition he would be at Anfield.
Pepe, who is valued at £22.5 million on Transfermarkt, has been unstoppable in Ligue 1 this season and it would be no surprise to see the Ivorian get a big career move sooner rather than later.
With seven goals and a further seven assists in just 11 appearances, Nicolas Pepe has really stepped up and delivered for Lille this season.
He has pace, skill and goalscoring ability just like the current forwards at Liverpool, meaning there is no reason as to why he wouldn’t fit in.
At just 23-years-old, a move to Liverpool could truly kick-start his tremendous future in football and he would be a very exciting player to get behind at Anfield.
Nicolas Pepe would undoubtedly be brilliant back-up to Mane and Salah and eventually could feel confident to get his name in the starting 11.
