The Liverpool fans in and around the Transfer Tavern no longer wish to discuss the Champions League. As you can imagine, Saturday night’s final still represents somewhat of a sore spot.
Still, their attacking dominance has been unbelievable this season, the combination of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have accumulated a number of goals for the Reds, causing havoc to many opponents in their way. However, as hard as it is for our local Liverpudlians to admit, it will be hard for their deadly trio to continue their fine form this season so in that case, they may consider signing Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich who would provide fierce competition.
The £45m-rated star (as per Transfermarkt) has been a great addition for the German side since moving from Juventus and this season he has again proven that. In 33 appearances, Coman has 7 accumulated 7 goals and 8 assists, a solid record for a dynamic player. The Frenchman’s pace is terrific, defenders are often left quaking as he zooms past them and away onwards towards goal.
Seeing the destruction the current Liverpool front three have caused, you can only imagine what the addition of Kingsley Coman would bring to Anfield, more pace and way more goal-threat. Of course, a player like the 21-year-old wouldn’t be cheap but if the Reds have serious title ambitions next season, then Coman is exactly the kind of player they need to look to add to their side.
Liverpool are a team on an upwards trajectory and with the continuous strengthening, all most soon add up to allow them to win domestic and European titles, agreed?
