Liverpool have looked a side to be considered amongst the best this season in England and across Europe as Jurgen Klopp has finally got his team sorted and ready to win silverware, so it seems.
The Reds have won every single game they’ve been involved in this season and this is no doubt due to their new-found immense quality on the pitch.
Jurgen Klopp has had his critics during his time at Anfield but now it seems like the former Dortmund boss is ready to silence that hate and bring silverware back to Anfield.
Liverpool nowadays don’t have an obvious improvement to make to their team given how well they’ve been playing but the added quality of a defender such as Benjamin Pavard could be the difference between Liverpool challenging for the league and actually winning it.
Pavard, (who is valued at £36 million on Transfermarkt) was one of many top draw players for France at the World Cup and from right-back position, he became a world champion, stunning goal along the way.
Indeed, his role in that mustn’t be underestimated as to play as well as he did in a position he doesn’t normally play in is quite an achievement. Because of this, a number of teams were rumoured to be interested in the 22-year-old but the Frenchman stayed grounded and remained at Stuttgart.
He has played every minute in the Bundesliga this season as a centre-back and even if he wasn’t brought into the starting line-up for Liverpool straight away, Pavard would certainly be a terrific squad player to have available and the kind of depth that wins you a Premier League.
