Liverpool pressing ahead with £14m deal for England international, club not keen on selling

In typically high pressing style for a team associated with Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are forgetting the nightmare in Basel and pushing ahead with searching for transfer rumours.

Well, with reports from the Daily Mirror, they will not have to look very far.

According to the report, the Reds are strongly interested in making an audacious move for England international Danny Drinkwater this summer.

The 26-year old was in stunning form all season and one of the major reasons Leicester City won the Premier League and has the prospect of Champions League to look forward to in the East Midlands next term.

It is believed Klopp has been hugely impressed with the former Manchester Untied trainee and constantly asks his analysis team to compile reports.

While Foxes chief Claudio Ranieri will reportedly resists any attempts to lure his star players away from the King Power Stadium, the former Borussia Dortmund coach is said to be pressing ahead with a £14m deal.

Will Drinkwater get a big move this summer? Why would he want to leave Leicester?
